Kitchen Tour

Welcome to my kitchen I’m super glad we’re doing this on my blog and not in person. It’s not that I don’t want to meet you and show it to you in person … I do. I just don’t want to clean it right now. Haha. Right now there’s a whole pile of clean dishes needing to be put away, dirty dishes needing to be washed, food under the highchairs, and who knows what under the fridge. But let’s just pretend it looks … Continue Reading »

The Ava Bracelet

When I told my friends that I was getting an Ava bracelet I tried describing what it looked like and what it did. It was difficult, because this bracelet is so revolutionary. “It’s simple and small.” “It’s soft blue.” “Ok, it looks like Minion butt on a wrist band.” (If you don’t know what a minion butt is, just count yourself lucky or google “Despicable Me”. Haha.) What it looks like really isn’t as important though, because one of the amazing things about … Continue Reading »

The Minimalism Challenge – Week 4

Welcome back to the fourth and final week of the minimalism challenge! If you’ve made it this far, congrats! Not going to lie, I’ve totally fallen off the band wagon myself. Between moving, having 3 under 3, travel, and Thanksgiving, I’m just good ole’ fashion behind. I’m excited to get back into our challenge this week and hopefully catch up! (I would recommend starting with Minimalism Challenge Week 1 if you’re new here!) This fourth week is all about the non-material stuff that … Continue Reading »

The Minimalism Challenge – Week 2

Week 1 of the minimalism challenge was just a warm up. We started small, made lots of simple decisions, and built some momentum. This week we’ll really get the ball rolling. (I would recommend going back to week 1 if you haven’t seen it yet before jumping into week 2.) Practically we’ll be doing our bedrooms, phones, and desks. For the mindset portion though, we’ll be digging into the word “need.” What do you need? Define the word. Do you need food to eat? … Continue Reading »

The Minimalism Challenge – Week 1

Minimalism…. ahhhh what a nice word and idea. It’s not so easy though to apply unless you are by nature not attached to material things (so basically it’s difficult for all of us). I’m hoping these next four weeks will be really helpful for you and I as we work towards more intentional living. It’s so hard for me to just jump into this challenge without touching on the deeper issues involved here. There are so many things that can be brought up, … Continue Reading »

Postpartum Must Haves + Beating The Baby Blues

When I typed in the title “Postpartum Must Haves,” it auto corrected to: “Post Party Must Haves.” I laughed. The last thing pregnancy is is a party. And recovery is even further from a party. Not to be discouraging! Having a baby is one of the very best things life has to offer, but recovery can be one of the worst. Haha. When I had Fern I was only 21, but I felt and looked rough after giving birth and continued that way … Continue Reading »

Fall Capsule Wardrobe – 2018

You may have heard me talk about my Summer capsule wardrobe over on Instagram. Or you may have even read the blog post about it. Either way, you’re going to hear a lot more about it, because I absolutely loved my experiment this past Summer. I will NEVER be going back. Taking a step back and an honest look at my 37 piece Summer capsule wardrobe there certainly were pros and cons. Cons of Doing a Capsule Wardrobe You can’t buy cute things when … Continue Reading »

Clean Living That Doesn’t Break The Bank

Well hi sweet readers. I’m so excited for this opportunity to get to share with you about something that I’m really passionate about but first, a little about me!  I’m Jordan and I’ve known Hannah for almost a year now. We met at a small group for our church and really hit it off from day one. Since then have had MANY competitive game nights, sweet conversations, double dates with our husbands and park dates with their sweet Fern (ugh we love her)!  … Continue Reading »

The Dad Diaper Bag

Poor Dads. Seriously. The moment a couple announces they’re expecting it’s all about that mama. How is she feeling? How big is the baby now? Any special cravings? When is she due? Isn’t she just so excited!? On top of all the attention being directed at the mama, all of the gear is designed for her too. And I totally get it. Many families choose for the wife to stay home part or full time so it makes more sense for the gear … Continue Reading »
